+wellvyl Media Contributor Program

Your work deserves a bigger room.

You've spent years earning what you know. We're building the audience that should hear it. It starts with an introduction video — we meet, we find what suits you, and we take it from there. Articles under your name, a seat on our podcast or one of your own, and as we grow, documentaries and short films. Your words, your work — our production and distribution.

Got it — we’ll be in touch. Worst case, you have one good conversation.

Prefer email? [email protected] reaches the same humans.

One conversation, on your terms — and you hold veto over every clip.

Written for the people, not the journals

Your research already speaks to journals, conferences, and fellow experts. This is the other audience — the people your work was always for. We turn what you know into digestible, actionable pieces that cite your research and peer-reviewed work, so the general population can actually use it.

What you bring isn't opinion, speculation, or personal bias — it's expert knowledge. The words stay yours — we never write for you. Our job is production, distribution, and the audience; yours is saying what you know.

And it never becomes a second job: everything here is a request, never a demand — voluntary submissions, podcast conversations only if you're willing.

You control it

Absolute veto over every clip. You review before anything publishes — nothing goes out until you've seen it. Your substance is yours; the editorial framing is ours.

Here's the entire ask

An introduction video. Thirty to sixty minutes, the two of us on a call — kicking off the relationship and finding what suits you.

That's it. Not a schedule, not a content calendar, not a quota.

After that, we see what you'd actually enjoy contributing — articles, podcast, film — and how much time you have. Anything beyond the introduction is agreed together. Nothing recurring is assumed.

One introductionA 30–60 minute video call. Nothing recurring is assumed.
Writing optional — alwaysNever required. A byline's there if you want it.
We produce everythingEditing, motion graphics, captions, distribution.

The articles are yours — requested, never demanded

Contributors are here for articles: digestible, actionable pieces under your name, citing your research and peer-reviewed work — written by you, never ghostwritten by us. It's how your expertise reaches the people it was meant for.

And it never becomes a second job. Every piece is a voluntary submission — we request, we don't demand. No quota, no calendar, and "no" never changes anything.

Already have something?

If you have a piece, an essay, or a talk you'd like to run with +wellvyl Media — that counts. No new work required.

Ways to contribute

PodcastJoin ours as a guest — or publish your own podcast with +wellvyl Media.
ArticlesYou write them — digestible, actionable, citing your research and peer-reviewed work. Your name, your credentials, our audience.
Documentaries & short filmsAs we grow — contributors get the first invitations. Always by agreement.

On compensation

There's no cash payment right now — this phase is a voluntary ask while we build and scale. That changes as the platform grows.

A fair trade, spelled out

What you give

  • One recorded conversation (30–60 min).
  • Permission to clip, caption, and distribute it — with your review built into every step.

What you get

  • Distribution you don't have to build — TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, our newsletter, and the +wellvyl media subscription.
  • A branded long-form asset that's yours to keep and repurpose however you like.
  • Permanent citation credit. Your work stays attributed to you, always.
  • Association with the +wellvyl movement — a growing network redefining what wellness actually means.

What we will never ask of you

Most "contributor programs" are a trapdoor. This one isn't. So let's be explicit about the lines we don't cross.

  • No exclusivity. Your work is yours. Publish it anywhere else, anytime.
  • No product or service endorsement. We will never ask you to vouch for something you don't believe in. This is your expertise, not an ad read.
  • No standing commitment. One conversation is the whole ask. Anything beyond it is agreed together — never assumed, never a quota.
  • No writing obligation. Ever. The byline is an open door, not a quota. It never becomes a condition of anything.
  • Absolute veto over every clip. Nothing goes out until you've seen it. If a clip misrepresents you, it doesn't run. Full stop.
  • No political-alignment ask. We're not recruiting you to a side. We're amplifying your work.
  • It's voluntary. There's no cash payment right now — this phase is a voluntary ask while we build and scale. That changes as the platform grows.

How it actually goes

  • An introduction video. A 30–60 minute call — we meet, hear your work, and find the lane that suits you. Low-key, no prep needed.
  • Pick your lane. Articles you write, our podcast or your own, or a future film project — whatever fits, always voluntary.
  • We produce and distribute. Our team edits, adds motion graphics and captions, and carries your work across our channels.
  • You review. You get a factual-accuracy pass before anything runs. You hold veto over the substance — if it's wrong or off, it changes or it's cut.
  • It ships. Your piece plus short clips, released across our channels over the weeks that follow.

If this sounds like you, it's for you

We're not looking for a résumé. We're looking for people who know something real and can say it plainly. You might be:

The academic authority. You're a PhD, MD, DO, professor, or principal investigator. You've done the work; most people will never read the paper. Let's fix that.
The practitioner with a story. You're an LMHC, counselor, or clinician whose path wasn't a straight line — and that non-linear arc is exactly what makes what you know land.
The practitioner-builder. You've got the clinical or expert standing and you've built something — a method, a practice, a body of work. You bridge theory and the real world.

Don't see your exact title? If you know something worth hearing, start a conversation anyway.

Want to go deeper? Only if you want to

One conversation is the whole deal. But if it clicks and you want more, the door's open — later, on your timeline, and only by mutual agreement:

  • A researcher AMA or a seat in the Founding Media Member circle — a small group shaping where this goes.
  • Introduce a peer — someone whose work also deserves a bigger room.
  • Academic advisory — help steer the science we build on.

None of this is a condition of anything. Do one conversation and walk away happy — that's a complete, welcome outcome.

The science behind the work

+wellvyl isn't wellness theater. The work is grounded in real research through The Social Wellness Institute, a 501(c)(3) studying how connection and belonging actually shape health. Most contributor conversations live right at that intersection — the science of relationships, health, and human connection, our social wellness work — which is exactly why your expertise matters here.

Let's talk

Start light — just tell us a little about your work and we'll take it from there. Worst case, you have one good conversation.

Common questions

Do I have to write anything?

Only if you want to — and we hope you will. Articles are the heart of the program: digestible, actionable pieces citing your research, written by you, never by us. Every submission is voluntary — requested, never demanded — with no quota and no deadline pressure.

What formats does my work appear in?

Articles you write under your name, citing your research and peer-reviewed work. Podcast — join ours as a guest or publish your own with +wellvyl Media. And as we grow, documentaries and short films — always by invitation and agreement. If you already have a piece, essay, or talk you'd like to run with us, that counts too. Short clips cut for social carry every format further.

Is the program paid?

This phase is voluntary — there's no cash honorarium right now, and we won't pretend otherwise. What you get is distribution across our owned channels, a branded long-form asset that's yours to keep, and permanent citation credit.

Do I have to appear on camera?

No. If you'd rather not be on camera, your conversation is produced over kinetic-typography motion graphics and B-roll. You show up and talk; we handle the visuals.

Do I keep control over how I'm shown?

Yes — absolute veto over every clip. You get a factual-accuracy review before anything runs, and nothing publishes until you've seen it; if a clip misrepresents you, it changes or it doesn't run.

Is it exclusive?

No. Your work is yours. You can publish it anywhere else, anytime. There's no exclusivity, no product endorsement ask, and no political-alignment ask.

Who can become a contributor?

Credentialed experts and practitioner-builders — academic authorities (PhDs, MDs, DOs, professors, PIs), clinical practitioners (LMHCs, counselors), and practitioner-builders who pair expert standing with something they've built. Not just social scientists.

How long does the whole process take?

We aim to schedule the conversation within a couple of weeks of your yes. After that it's production, then your review — nothing publishes until you've seen it. What runs is one long-form piece plus three to five short clips, released across our channels over the weeks that follow.

How do I get started?

Two ways. Start a conversation — use the quick form on this page (your name, email, and one line about your work) or send a short note to [email protected] — either way, we take it from there. Or, if you already know you're in, complete the full contributor application directly; it's reviewed within five business days.
