STRONG – A POEM
Strong
When I am hungry
I smear Honey on my cheeks
and pick carne from my baby hairs
Under the sky in the
heat of the black
smoke curling
I press to the ground
I curl like a feather
is licking my back
and in the spark dust I do not fall
like milk tears
but stand
with the sky.
