The United States’ sketchy history with Liberia continues and soon could displace nearly 300,000 of its natives whom have fled the war-torn country for a better life. The current problem is that many of these Liberians were allowed into the US on a Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The Trump administration now wants to do away with the status of all Liberian immigrants, including a beautiful but now fearful community in Staten Island.
