BILL COSBY FOUND GUILTY

Over the years, rumors of Bill Cosby drugging and sexually assaulting women were omnipresent inside the entertainment industry. Countless women went on record accusing the fallen comedic giant of those very crimes. It wasn’t until December 30, 2015, when Cosby was charged, for the first time, of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand, the former operations manager of the women’s basketball team at Temple University, at his home in January of 2004.

After two trials, 27 months and two dozen witnesses, a jury of seven men and five women, including two African-Americans, found Cosby guilty of penetration with lack of consent, penetration while unconscious and penetration after administering an intoxicant. Each is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in state prison. The three sentences could run concurrently which means the pioneer who was once known as “America’s Dad,” could perhaps die in prison.
