ACHIEVE EMOTIONAL WELLNESS WITH VIBRANT.ORG

The recipes of anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts often are built upon harmful environments, relationships, careers and much more. Toxic friends are the epitome of relationships that damage your emotional wellness. Social hacks on how to navigate can be read here.

As human beings, we strive to be wanted and accepted by members of our society on a daily basis, even if we compromise our own values, lifestyles, and appearance to fit in. Without human contact, we already are damaging our bodies mentally and physically. Human Behavior author Michael Bond explains that “lonely people have higher blood pressure, are more vulnerable to infection, and are also more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Loneliness also interferes with a whole range of everyday functioning, such as sleep patterns, attention and logical and verbal reasoning”, believed to be caused by how social isolation taps into a brutal immune response, a burst of stress hormones and inflammation.  Not to mention, people get fucked up in the head and who doesn’t have days where you forgot the time and place you are or repeat the same simplest mistakes for the 80th time. The question is that how often do we check in with ourselves, especially when we have panic attacks and other signs, due to stress?  We also wrote an article about detecting panic attacks in New York City, which can be read here.

From my personal experience, there is nothing worse than having toxic friends that don’t see the fault of their errors and needed you to talk more than them to rebuttal you into a trapped manipulation. There is nothing worse than going through life events without the courage to ask for help. Lastly, there is nothing worse than not having a place to go when you are in the verge of suicide. I would lose sleep, sleep in, cry for days, get aggressive, have panic attacks and basically almost every vital signs to show that my emotional wellness is not where it needs to be.  We already lost countless celebrities and there is a call to action to have spaces where people can get help. Lucky for us New Yorkers, the former Mental Health Association of New York City (MHA-NYC) has rebranded as Vibrant Emotional Health and has provided more updated support for every all types of people with emotional health issues.

They are leaders, advocates, educators, and innovators in mental health that have raised awareness and offering support to everyone who is struggling. They have multiple ranges of services offered in order to save as many lives as possible as well as assist people to get help at their best convenience. With services including Call, Text, Chat and Online Services such as Braveline, Community Programming such as Adult Programs, Advocacy, Policy & Education as Vibrant do push the message directly to policymakers who can push for stronger  mental health including the fight of bringing children back to their families separated from the Mexican border and Business Solutions including Digital Cognitive Behavior Therapy.  If we can’t tell you enough to seek help when you need it, always find a place, whether that place is with an organization, a community or even your purpose, you will appreciate it in the long run.
